This Denning Majestic bodied Mercedes O303, seen in Southern Cross Station in April 2013, was new to Australian Pacific Tours as 10 (EKD368) in 1991. Gillicks acquired in later in its life from Canberra Coach with ACT rego MO196. Here it is 6 (3990AO), bu has since left the fleet. |

Spotted at a Shell servo in April 2016 was 1998 Toyota Coaster 7 (3991AO) also now sold.

This 2002 Coach Design bodied Scania K124IB used to be Australia Wide Coaches 105 (TV4809) and named "Aurora". It was used in APT livery. It also acquired rego AWC005 and was rechristened "Daytripper". It was sold to Lake Brothers in Barnham but is seen with subsequent owner, Gillicks in Normanby Road, Melbourne, near the Convention Centre in May 2016 as Gillicks 17 (BS00RU).

Outside Flinders Street Station on V-Line Easter rail work in April 2018 was Motorcoach Classic III 12 (8421AO), new to Explorer Coachlines as 28 (WNY128) in 2001. It was acquired from Topline in Brisbane, where it had been 2 (550KNZ). It was sold on to Group Charters of Berridale, NSW, with rego TV221C in 2025.

Typical of the modern fleet is Irizar i6 bodied Scania K440EB, 22 (BS04JJ) seen in Melbourne in April 2019, not yet two years old.

A long way from home in Warrnambool in March 2021 was Coach Concepts bodied Scania K114IB 15 (9455AO) new to Australia Wide Coaches 111 (TV5595) in 2007.

Since sold to Wells Wagons in Tasmania as 101 (XT91CQ) this Express bodied Mercedes OH1830 was new to Crane's in Bairnsdale as 1377SO in 2010. The coach is seen in May 2021 as Gillicks 22 on a school run for the large Nagle College, conveniently located close to their depot. Gillicks had acquired it from Carrison.

Also on College work that afternoon was Coach Design bodied Volvo B7R 23 (0243AO) which had been new to Lawler of Yarram in 2008.

A smart Denning Silver Phoenix, 25 (3987AO), on another Nagle College run that wet afternoon. It was new to Stewarts Bus Service of Eagle Point in 2006, but Gillicks acquired it from Morris of Paynesville.

Also in the yard was Austral Pacific Starliner bodied Mercedes OH1421 21 (0229AO), acquired from Perry of Orbost who bought it new in 1998.

Still operating under the Paynesville Buslines banner in May 2021 on the service linking Paynesville with Bainsdale was Bustech VST bodied Scania K280UB 16 (BS00HD) which had been new as a Scania demonstrator in TNSW livery in 2013 when it was displayed at the Sydney Bus Show.

In February 2026 the Bus & Coach Society of Victoria (BCSV) visited Gillicks depot in Bairnsdale. Here is 42 (BS02SW) an Express bodied Mercedes O500RF, new to McCoy in Bairnsdale in 2017. Visitors got to ride on it and Scania 15 after lunch - as seen on the showbus.com YouTube video.

The fleet's impressive line up of Irizar i6 coaches with their pink "bunnny ears". Starting on the far left we have 36 (BS10UH), then 44 (BS12VR) and 41 (BS11RS), all 2023 Volvo B8R. Next up is 35 (BS09KZ) a 2022 i6S bodied Scania K370CB, 26 (BS06PK) an i6 K440EB of 2020 and 22 (BS04JJ), seen earlier in Melbourne.

Tucked inside the Bairnsdale depot was 2016 Fuso Rosa 20 (8645AO), one of ony two small buses in the fleet at the time.

This Denning Landseer was new in 1992 to Wannon Roadways in Hamilton as EDJ186. It moved on to work in Adelaide for Murrays as their 594. Later it became Ventura 227 (VTU594), moving on to Ballarat Coachlines as B9 (NSU522) and finally to Premier Stateliner as 325 (WDO589). It is now a heritage vehicle cared for by Gillicks in whose depot it was seen in May 2021.

The all white livery above gave way to this one, which seems to owe something to Premier Stateliner influence. It is seen here on what may have been its debut outing with historic plate 4446H2 at the BCSV's first gathering at the Scoresby Steam Museum in March 2025.
